Spanish Teacher - St. Luke's Episcopal School, San Antonio

St. Luke’s Episcopal School is seeking an inspiring and innovative full-time Middle School Spanish teacher to start in August 2021. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching middle school-age children with proven success in making content come alive by connecting the content to students’ innate inquisitiveness. The candidate will also have a strong knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary, and a clear instructional approach in developing students to be competent language and culture learners who communicate within the Spanish language with effective written and oral expression. This skillful educator will provide daily Spanish instruction for students in grades 6-8. The position requires maintaining a full teaching load, serving as an advisor to ten to twelve students, and possible chaperoning duties, such as Outdoor Education week, and other duties and responsibilities, as needed.
