This annual event, held on the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, our church’s namesake, celebrates and recognizes the first responders and military veterans in our community.

Marching veterans will join a stream of law enforcement vehicles, fire trucks and ambulances as they parade in front of the church and receive a special blessing for their service and safety. Afterward, spectators and participants are invited to join parishioners on the church grounds for free hot dogs, chips and cookies.

We’ll also be cheering on runners and walkers in both a 5K and 1K Fun Run that wend through the neighborhood and the Blanco State Park.

Donations received at the event will benefit Homes For Our Troops, an organization that builds especially equipped homes for severely injured service members in our area.
