Many Christians want to grow in their spiritual lives, but aren’t sure how to do it. One of the most ancient and helpful spiritual practices of our faith is called Lectio Divina: the reading of Sacred Scripture in a way that leads to a prayerful encounter with the God who loves you. This is not the same as Bible Study. This is letting God’s Word encounter you in your daily life! Larry Christian, M.Div., will help us learn this ancient art of prayer by practicing it together over six Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM here at St. Francis. We will begin on Oct. 15th and end on November 19th. Family, friends, and spiritual seekers are all invited. All you need is your Bible and a journal or notebook!
