Living and Learning: The Ways of Bereavement and Grief
Click here to download the flyer.
Grief after loss is one of the most common human experiences, yet little is said about grief and many people suffer silently and alone. Loved ones and caregivers often don’t know what to say, or with good intentions end up offering bad advice.
Join St. Francis, San Antonio on a seven week journey as we learn and share about grief and life after the loss of loved ones. Beginning September 4 and ending October 16, we will gather on Thursday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church. Hospice Chaplain Larry Christian, M.Div., M.A., will facilitate our learning and guide our discussions. Come yourself, or come together with a friend or family member. People of faith or of no faith are equally welcome!
This seven week experience is free. Materials will be provided, along with coffee, drinks, and munchies!
