Summer 2022 Camps Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the diocesan Camps & Conferences programs in 2022, at dwtx.org/events. Also, check out the new Camp Videos and featured camp opportunities below!

Many familiar and new gatherings are scheduled to take place throughout the coming year at Camp Capers, Duncan Park, and Mustang Island Conference Center, including summer camps, family camps, and weekend retreats.

The Camps & Conference staff at all three sites are excited to provide a year filled with fun, meaningful, safe, and authentic programming for children, youth, adults, and families. Health and safety guidelines will be communicated with participants at the time of registration and will be shared on each site's webpage in the spring.

Everyone needs the moments of joy and reconnection that take place at camp more than ever now. Don't miss these amazing opportunities; now is the time to sign up for camp! Camp Capers

Camp Capers is an Episcopal camp and conference center of the Diocese of West Texas, located in the Texas Hill Country. Here children, youth and adults work, play and grow together as they develop a community of trust, openness and sharing. Participants are challenged to grow spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Opportunities abound for making new friends, meeting people from across the state, learning new skills, taking responsibility for oneself, others and God's world, and having lots of fun! Learn more, at dwtx.org/capers.

Mustang Island Conference Center

Mustang Island Conference Center is an Episcopal camp and conference center of the Diocese of West Texas, located in the Coastal Bend region of Texas. The conference center's mission is to provide a sacred place for our guests to rest, reflect, and renew their faith, surrounded by God’s coastal creation. It is open year-round and serves all God's children as a ministry of Christian hospitality to religious, educational, and non-profit organizations. Each summer, the conference center hosts many sessions of Family Camp as well as other year-round retreats. Learn more, at dwtx.org/micc.

Duncan Park

Duncan Park is an Episcopal camp and conference center of the Diocese of West Texas, located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, just outside Boulder, CO. It provides a space for people to gather, deepen their faith, experience the love of God in community, and feel empowered to share this grace with their home parishes and neighbors. Existing completely off-the-grid, this facility captures the rugged beauty of the surrounding mountains and allows for a true respite from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Summer Camp at Duncan Park offers opportunities for people with a variety of ages and experience levels with sessions for high school youth, college students, and adults. Learn more, at dwtx.org/dpco.
