Individuals, couples, and families are invited to the Fall Retreats at Camp Capers. Each weekend will include time to savor the beautiful Texas Hill Country, play in the Guadalupe River, enjoy fun family activities, and share delicious meals. Worship services, including Compline, will be led by Camp Capers staff and chaplains.
All diocesan ministries, as well as the local ministries of our 87 churches, have experienced the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the form of lost income, reduced budgets, and canceled plans; however, the programs relying on earned revenues and supplemental donations from outside the diocesan budget, have been hit particularly hard. The Diocese is launching a fall campaign in support of Camps & Conferences, Vital UM, and World MIssions.
Save the date for the 15th Annual Bishop's Golf Classic benefiting diocesan programs; the tournament will take place with modifications and pandemic precautions, on Friday, November 6th at Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio.
In response to developments in the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the Diocese will share resources, information, and updates as needed for a safe, compassionate, and faith-based response. Click the link below to access these resources.
