Description of Duties: The Standing Committee meets quarterly and serves as a Council of advice to the diocesan bishop. Among its responsibilities are granting or withholding consents to the election of bishops in The Episcopal Church and interviewing seminarians and recommending to the bishop whether or not they be made candidates for ordination. The Standing Committee is composed of 6 persons, 3 clergy and 3 lay. In the event that the office of bishop is vacant, the Standing Committee serves as the Ecclesiastical authority for the diocese. Persons serving on the Standing Committee should be familiar with the Constitution and Canons, aware of issues in the wider Anglican Communion, and be persons who are willing to undertake a wide range of leadership needs and discernment. (Diocesan Constitution Art. IV and V, Sec. 1 and 2; Diocesan Canon 3, Sec. 1 and 2)

Qualifications: I have served as a priest in the Dioceses of Texas and West Texas for over 10 years. In that time, I have worked as a Spanish Missioner at a large Spanish mission during my curacy, as a Campus Missioner at UT Austin, as a Rector at Saint Margaret's here in San Antonio, and I now serve as the Associate Rector at Saint Luke's, San Antonio. Drawing from this history, I would bring a great breadth and depth of experiences to support the Standing Committee in its primary function as a council of advice to the Bishop. In addition, throughout my ordained ministry, I have participated in the process of formation and ordination to ministry, both sending and sponsoring multiple aspirants, postulants, and candidates for ordination, as well as directing and supervising Seminarians in their ministry internships. This experience with and understanding of the process of raising up leaders for the ordination would also be useful in supporting the Committee's other function, that of examining Postulants for Ordained ministry on behalf of the diocese.
Local Church Activities: In my role as the Associate Rector of Saint Luke's Church, I serve at the discretion and direction of the Rector, and so I have various leadership roles and responsibilities throughout our ministries. Currently, I serve as the chief organizer of our overarching Young Adults Ministry. I train and support our Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers. I work in a variety of ways with our School and Parent Council on shared efforts and events. I support our RenewalWorks efforts, and take my share of the teaching, preaching, liturgical, and pastoral duties as assigned.
Community Activities: While most of my community activity time is directed towards my parish and diocesan community, I am excited to be getting more involved in Scouting as a volunteer and parent, as my daughter just joined as a cub scout, and I have enjoyed and made time to pray for and with the 40 Days for Life chapter in San Antonio, including occasionally speaking at and opening events with prayer
Diocesan Activities: On the diocesan level, I have served in various ways through the years. In the Diocese of Texas, I served on the Commission on Hispanic Ministry and was a part of the church planting/college missions group of the Mission Amplification Team. In the Diocese of West Texas, I have served as a clergy leader for Mustang Island Family Camp, Diocesan Confirmation Retreat, and for several years as the Chaplain to the staff of Camp Capers, including helping to organize clergy volunteers to support the Capers summer staff. I also served on the Evangelism Committee for the diocese and, most recently, participated in the Deacons Task Force, which helped forge the way forward for ministry of the Diaconate in our diocese.

Qualifications: From 2011–2021, I served in College Missions for the Diocese, traveling throughout West Texas to support programs, staff, and ministries. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges our diocese faces. Currently, I serve as Vice Rector at St. Thomas Episcopal Church and School in San Antonio. In this role, I have gained valuable insight into the joys and complexities of parish ministry, including supporting clergy, lay leaders, and congregations in daily operations and discipleship. Having recently completed the discernment process myself, I am passionate about walking alongside others discerning their call to ministry. I believe in encouraging, equipping, and sustaining those preparing to serve the Church. I am deeply committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of West Texas. I bring a collaborative spirit, a systems-oriented mindset, and a problem-solving approach to ministry.
Local Church Activities: Our mission at St. Thomas Church and School is to be an inclusive and kind church that learns and serves together. I oversee our dedicated staff, parish programming, and facilities, and assist with budget planning, finances, preaching, and pastoral care. Over the past year, our congregation completed a successful capital campaign resulting in the replacement of our church roofs. Partnering with our Junior Warden, I helped assemble and lead a Facilities Team that developed a strategic maintenance plan with both short- and long-term goals. Together, we oversaw major updates and repairs across the campus, coordinating with the vestry, staff, school, and parishioners to ensure transparent communication and faithful stewardship of our resources.
Community Activities: I serve as the Co-Lead Mentor for The Mayfly Project in San Antonio, an organization that supports children in foster care by teaching them to fly fish, fostering an appreciation for the local ecosystem, and offering consistent mentorship and connection to the outdoors. I also participate in the Know Your Neighbor: Narrative Change Cohort through the H.E. Butt Foundation. This 15-month program gathers San Antonians from diverse backgrounds to explore our city’s history and current realities of social, racial, and economic inequity through immersive learning, discussion, and relationship-building. Additionally, I am active in my local neighborhood association, Dignowity Hill. I attend meetings, participate in outreach events, and support new initiatives that strengthen community life on the east side of San Antonio.
Diocesan Activities: Member of Duncan Park Committee (2019-Present) Chaplain to Camp Capers Summer Staff (Summers 2023 & 2024) Duncan Park Chaplain (Summers 2016-2024) Assisted with special projects with the Bishop Youth Commission (presenter) and the Christian Formation Committee (curriculum creation). Volunteer at Plaza de Paz.

Qualifications: I am bi-vocational, working as both a priest and a contractor. I graduated from the Iona Collaborative through the Seminary of the Southwest. As the diocese seeks to continue and expand the Iona program, I bring the experience, understanding, and perspective through living and working successfully. St. Andrew's attained Parish status at last year's council and we continue to thrive as we seek to serve our community.
Local Activities: As Parish Priest of a small congregation, I get to wear many hats and be fully connected to the lives of the congregants. St. Andrew's is very active with Agape Ranch through the bed build program. Building and delivering beds and bedding to foster families as children are placed. This allows us to meet directly with families within our immediate community and to pray with them. The bed build program started at St. Andrew's and has expanded to five different sites across the Coastal Bend, allowing churches to meet the needs of foster children and families within each community. We also are active with the Rainbow Room, restocking it several times each year for foster children to have their basic needs met. We continue to participate in the life of the diocese through camps and retreats, especially Cursillo.
Community Activities: I fully participate in coordinating and working at each of the bed builds at each site. Working with Agape Ranch has been a blessing for our church and the community as they help organize and fund these activities. They help us to reach out into the community for donations and manpower to make each bed build successful. I encourage and on occasion have delivered our collection for the Rainbow Room.
Diocesan Activities: I serve on the Secretariat for Cursillo. I continue to serve as Spiritual Director for several Cursillo weekends. I serve as Chaplain at Camp Capers for Nails and Prayers Retreat and I serve as Chaplain at Mustang Island Family Camp.

Qualifications: Except for four years when we lived out of state, I have been a part of this diocese my whole life. The foundation of my faith began in the loving community of the Church of the Good Shepherd in George West, Texas. I grew up attending Camp Capers where I became even more solid in my beliefs. My husband, Gene, and I have spent our entire married lives involved in parish and diocesan activities and serving on various committees aimed at supporting and building up others in their own faith journeys. I served five years as Youth and Young Adult Ministry Officer for the diocese, where my duties covered everything from management and oversight of Camps + Conferences programs and summer staff, youth ministry programs and support of diocesan youth ministers, developing and building up College + Young Adult Ministries throughout the diocese, to training leaders in Safeguarding God’s Children and prevention of child sexual abuse.

Community Activities: After the devastating flood on July 4, I have volunteered and assisted with recovery and ministries where I have been able, including St. Peter’s Help and Hope for the Hill Country. At Kerrville’s Schreiner University, I volunteer for student services and support, and I am a member of Schreiner Alliance.
Diocesan Activities: In addition to my service as a staff member at the Diocese of West Texas mentioned above, I have been involved in some capacity at Camp Capers for over five decades. I have served on numerous Happening, Vocare, and Cursillo teams, and I am a current member of the Diocesan Historical Commission.

Qualifications: I believe that the mission of the church is only increasing to resonate with people in my age cohort, and I think it's important that the governing bodies of the church reflect this. I can bring a measured, multi-faceted perspective and help represent young families on the Standing Committee. Additionally, my professional experience has lead me to a strong systems thinking mindset, that I believe can also benefit the standing committee and diocese, overall.
Local Church Activities: I'm in the third and final year serving on the vestry at Christ Church, during which I was able to help call a new rector, with most of my energy there spent on the parish profile. I've also chaired the Ellison Scholarship Committee, leading a 12-person committee to award over $110,000 to 30+ students. Additionally, I've sung in the choir and been a Lay Reader and Lay Eucharistic Minister for the past 10 years.

As an adult, my family and I attend Mustang Island Family Camp annually, and have been happy to see my oldest son enjoy his weeks at Camp Capers over the summer.

Qualifications: My consistent and broad range of involvement within the diocese and the national church have given me a better understanding of the function and governance of the church and where my strengths best meet the needs of our church. Having grown up in this diocese, I have built strong relationships with fellow church members from all across the diocese and understand the particularities of our specific diocese and place within the national church. I am collaborative and passionate about the work of our church, and I work best by listening before acting.

Qualifications: I have been the Parish Administrator at Reconciliation for nearly eight years and so I am involved with many aspects of our parish life, including communications, liturgy, event organizing, funerals, pastoral care, and more. Because much of the Standing Committee’s work involves discernment, I am eager to share the life lessons I have learned at Reconciliation about radical inclusivity and diversity, welcoming the marginalized to be in community with us, and making sure that we are always serving the needs of our diocese by ensuring that all voices are being heard. These are all things that are part of my job at Reconciliation, and I hope we always continue to strive to bring all people to walk alongside us. I am gladdened by the diversity of experience in this diocese and hope to add my own voice to it.
Local Church Activities: I serve as a Verger, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Livestream Operator, Choir Singer, and have been a Council Delegate and Vestry Clerk. I love training and working with our wonderful acolytes, helping them to understand the important role they play and seeing their pride in the work they do. I have been honored to lead new initiatives at Reconciliation to increase our cultural and language offerings. This includes starting a Dia de los Muertos ofrenda (altar), offering Morning Prayer in Spanish, starting a Spanish Club for Reconcilers to practice their Spanish, organizing lectors to read in Spanish at our Sunday services, and planning our yearly Posada in December. These events have helped our members both learn about and celebrate Latino culture, and I hope we continue to grow in our offerings that celebrate all cultures. It has been a joy to serve on our Outreach Committee, especially helping to organize our wonderful volunteers at our quarterly San Antonio Food Bank distribution days.
Community Activities: Volunteering is a deep passion for me. I foster dogs and volunteer with a local rescue in loving memory of my dogs Toby and Dylan. I volunteer with several organizations to encourage voters and inform them on issues. I also regularly work with the San Antonio Food Bank in their warehouse. Diocesan Activities: Most recently, I have taken part in and am helping to recruit volunteers for the diocese’s new court accompaniment and court monitoring program at the local immigration courthouse. It has been powerful to walk alongside individuals and provide support and prayer. I am in the middle of my fourth year of EfM (Education for Ministry) and am a member of our diocesan Vergers Guild. I am also the Event Committee chair for the Texas Water Mission’s annual Wine and Water fundraiser. This past year, it was deeply poignant to participate in the diocese’s Migration with Dignity prayer vigil at a local migrant detention center. I am also helping to organize a diocesan Posada, which will take place at Good Samaritan Center and will hopefully bring those families into community with us.
Description of Duties: The Executive Board is required to meet twice a year, but usually meets more often. The Board functions in a way similar to a parish vestry, including preparing the diocesan budget and submitting it to Council for approval. The Executive Board appoints several departments and committees, including the Finance Department and the Nominating Committee. Members of the Executive Board serve as liaisons to the various departments and commissions of the diocese. Knowledge and experience with the ministries representing the breadth of the diocese is an asset topersons who serve on the Executive Board. At the same time, a willingness to engage diocesan ministry and learn of the breadth of the diocese is the most basic requirement for service on the Executive Board. (Diocesan Constitution Art. IV, Sec. 1, 2, and 3; Diocesan Canon 4, Sec. 1a-1d)

Qualifications: I have long-time experience serving on boards, vestries, and diocesan and Episcopal Church committees, first as a lawyer and later as a priest. As Canon to the Ordinary in West Tennessee, I was engaged with the Executive Board as a diocesan employee, gaining an important perspective. I would love to help bring about the vision of our bishops on both a strategic and practical level.
Local Church Activities: I am the shared priest of St. Matthew's (Edinburg) and Trinity (Pharr) as part of the diocese's creative initiative to bring a priest to two congregations. I would like to use my experience with these churches, as well as other previous experience, to help the diocese come up with other creative ways to provide support for our congregations and diocesan entities.
Community Activities: I enjoy spending time with the Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops sponsored by St. Matthew's. I do volunteer work with the Edinburg World Birding Center, including providing it with photographs of birds and other wildlife. I am an occasional speaker at the local Rotary Club, most recently giving a presentation on an International Rotary sponsored water project that was done for Amistad Mission (a Bolivian orphanage for which I have served as a board member for many years).
Diocesan Activities: I am currently the Dean of the Rio Grande Valley Convocation and a member of the Nominating Committee. While I grew up in Edinburg, I have only recently returned to the diocese and am gradually increasing my participation here. I have served on the Executive Board, Chair of Dispatch for Council, and Deputy to General Convention in previous dioceses.

Qualifications: I believe I'm a strong candidate due to 35+ years of ordained ministry in 2 dioceses, 12 years of lay ministry in 6 dioceses, plus many missions to foreign and domestic dioceses. I've served on executive boards, as trustee, and as both alternate and deputy to General Conventions for West Texas and elsewhere.

I assist in the management and hospitality of our facilities for many local ministries and services, including being a local voting location, hosting a weekly Sr. Citizens' Game time, the Rotary Club, Lions Club, Heritage Museum, Family Promise, AA, and Al-Anon.
Diocesan Activities: Besides the typical ministries a rector shares in a small-to-medium sized parish of our diocese, I’ve served the Diocese of West Texas on TMI’s Governing Board; Executive Board; Trustee; the Disciplinary Board; the Evangelism Committee, the Committee for the Bishop’s Sabbatical; and World Mission Commission (both for the Commission, as well as personally leading or being Spiritual Director, on many missions to Northern Mexico, Southeast Mexico, Honduras, North India, and Navajoland). I’ve been a chaplain and dean for many sessions at Camp Capers, including the Good Sam Camp for several years, as well as Mustang Island sessions; the Cursillo Movement both as a spiritual and music director; Dean of the Western Convocation, Dean of the Northeast Convocation; Examining Chaplain for 25 years; General Convention Deputy and Alternate for the diocese.

Qualifications: I look to the future with energy and enthusiasm, filled with hope for what God will do through the Church. I believe in listening carefully to the diverse stories that shape our common life, asking careful questions in search of creative possibilities, and endlessly encouraging our coworkers in the gospel. I have over a decade of leadership experience in college and parish ministry (at both large and small churches) in New York, New Jersey, and Texas.
Local Church Activities: My recent joys in parish ministry include: celebrating Fiesta with Evensong, hosting the Migration with Dignity pilgrimage, cheering on 15,000 marathon runners as they raced past our church, marching in the San Antonio Pride Parade, leading the vestry through a property transformation audit, singing Lift Every Voice and Sing with our students at the DreamWeek opening ceremony, and getting Bishop Read to wear a mitre.

Qualifications: I offer myself as a candidate for the Executive Council with a heart rooted in service, a voice shaped by diverse communities, and a vision committed to the flourishing of the Episcopal Church in all its breadth and beauty. As an Episcopal Priest, Church Planter, Educator, and Spiritual lLeader, I have been blessed to walk alongside congregations in Texas, New York, Guam, and the Philippines. These experiences have deepened my conviction that the Church is most alive when it listens to the margins, welcomes the stranger, and builds bridges across cultures, languages, and generations. Currently, I serve as Rector of the Church of the Advent in Brownsville, TX. My ministry is shaped by radical hospitality, strategic outreach, and a commitment to spiritual formation that honors both tradition and innovation. I bring to this role a multicultural lens, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for inclusive governance that reflects the Body of Christ in its fullness. If elected, I will advocate for the voices often overlooked, support initiatives that nurture emerging leaders, and help shape policies that empower congregations to thrive in changing contexts.
Local Church Activities: As Rector in the Church of the Advent, I offer pastoral care to migrants, and border communities who carry deep wounds—physical, emotional, and spiritual. My presence is a balm, reminding people they are seen, loved, and never alone. With my multilingual and multicultural gifts, I help navigate the complex intersections of faith, identity, and justice and build bridges between communities, agencies, and diocesan structures, ensuring that no one falls through the cracks.
Community Activities: As Rector, I am also a Church Planter and Community Builder. I help cultivate spaces of belonging—whether through worship, outreach, or spiritual formation. These aren’t just programs; they’re lifelines for people seeking hope, stability, and connection.
Diocesan Activities: In my 15 years of ordained ministry, I have actively been involved in the life of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, and the Diocese of Long Island, Hawaii and now West Texas, contributing to both local and wider church initiatives. Whether through your role in church planting, participation in diocesan gatherings, or collaboration with clergy and lay leaders, I hope to bring a strategic and pastoral presence that strengthens the Church’s witness. I help shape conversations around multicultural ministry, spiritual formation, and inclusive leadership—especially for underrepresented communities. I am currently entering my second year in the Diocese of West Texas, I am called and deeply committed to identifying and empowering others to serve. Whether mentoring youth, encouraging lay leadership, or walking alongside those discerning a call to ordained ministry, you create pathways for people to discover their gifts and respond to God’s call, modelling servant leadership and cultivating a culture of vocation—especially among those who may not see themselves reflected in traditional leadership roles.

I am skilled at creating meaningful ministry for laity which calls for me to be an effective leader guided by the Holy Spirit. My pastoral skills are well grounded in God's grace and mercy. In the short time I have been here, the church and community know I will listen and pray with them. Each week we teach the children a story from the bible, sing some songs- including one in which we are learning the books of the Bible, and pray with them. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the breadth and diversity of our diocesan family. I am currently a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio, where I serve within the Community of Hope, as a Sacred Ground Facilitator and on our Sacred Ground Working Group, and as a Lector and Greeter (and I served a three year vestry term from 2022-24). Previously, as a member of St. Boniface Church in Comfort, I sang in the choir, played in the bell choir, led middle and high school Sunday School and Youth Group with my husband, and was the Director of Children’s Ministries. Additionally, I was the Head of St. Boniface Episcopal School. I am currently the Librarian and Assistant Robotics Coach at St. Luke’s Episcopal School in San Antonio.
Community Activities: Although I work and attend church in San Antonio, I actually live out in the Hill Country, close to Boerne. I have given my time, talent, and treasures to various organizations, including the Patrick Heath Public Library, Curington Elementary School, Sam Coffee Animal Rescue, Boerne City Parks, Kendall County Parks (as a member of bird counting crews), and Transformation House. I am a new volunteer on the immigrations team of Texas Impact, and I am a member of the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum, and regularly attend events, including the monthly documentary and panel discussion series.
Diocesan Activities: For the past two years, I was part of the team of teachers at Camp Capers who lead the Good Sam camp week, two very powerful weeks! In my youth, I was a counselor at Camp Capers, and very much enjoyed being an introvert in a sea of extroverts, and found much joy and comfort talking to campers who also liked to sit and watch from the sidelines! Every time, I am an avid online watcher of the goings-on at both General Convention for the National Church, as well as Diocesan Council. I am fascinated by the leadership and growth from the church throughout history. For many years, I served on the Board of Trustees (not Governors) of TMI Episcopal. I am a TMI graduate, as is my brother and my daughter. My son is a current student, and my husband recently celebrated his 20th year at TMI working in the admissions office. Currently, I serve as a moderator of the National Church’s Facebook group for Sacred Ground facilitators, and have been so moved by this movement of Beloved Community.

Qualifications: I believe that God qualifies the called and though I do not think myself to be more special than anyone else, I do believe that God has called me consistently to fulfill different duties and participate in kingdom work due to my unique background and experience. Through His calling, I find my life becoming more and more fulfilled and meaningful. I am fully bilingual and proficient in Spanish and English. I was born in and grew up in the Diocese of West Texas and have participated in many different ministries at the youth, college, and missions level.
Local Church Activities: For many years I committed time and effort into my church community at Church of the Advent in Brownsville. During the time of Covid restrictions, I directed and recorded the streams for our services from 2021-2022. I then led the youth group and confirmation classes as a volunteer. I was also part of a Dean/Chaplain/Teacher (DCT) team for Camp Capers in the summer of 2021. All of this in addition to my participation as a youth, including mission work. Currently, my callings in the diocese outside of my hometown have changed my involvement, but I visit and check in with my home church regularly.
Community Activities: I advocate for my peers by connecting them with ministry opportunities available to them in Brownsville and San Antonio.
Diocesan Activities: I participate in the College + Young Adults Ministry, attending their weekly bible studies and monthly events and am an advocate for young adults in the diocese. I have dedicated my summers to serving at Camp Capers in a variety of leadership roles including Media & Marketing, Lead Counselor for Cedar Elm, as well as Cabin Counselor roles. I have served during their conference season as well working in the kitchen and serving the needs of the groups. I participate in World Missions through Manos de Dios as their Communications Coordinator. Through this role, I manage their social media, lead projects, and co-lead in the planning process for our 2 annual mission trips to Honduras. On a personal note, I make it a goal of mine to build bridges between these ministries in order to create opportunities for fellowship and new experiences. Through a combined effort between Manos, College + Young Adult Ministries, & Camps + Conferences, we gave a young adult from Honduras the opportunity to serve as a counselor at Camp Capers. I am planning to participate in the Community of Saints Francis and Clare for their January cohort.

Qualifications: My consistent and broad range of involvement within the diocese and the national church have given me a better understanding of the function and governance of the church and where my strengths best meet the needs of our church. Qualifications: I bring years of leadership experience in Latino Ministry within the Dioecese of West Texas, where I have worked to build bridges across cultures and communities. Additionally, I hosted Vamos a practicer (Spanish lessons for English speakers) for two years and coordinated the distribution of Bibles (gestión de Biblias) for Plaza de Paz in 2024.

Qualifications: I love the Episcopal Church and admire the ability we have as the Body of Christ to come together as representatives and leaders to learn from each other. Our strength comes from living in communion together and regular gatherings, even with their shortcomings, are a time of blessing. I am able and willing to travel to convention.
Local Church Activities: I am currently serving as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, Reader, Substitute Children's Sunday School Teacher, Outreach Volunteer, and on the Planning Committee for the Women's Retreat in my local congregation. I recently served three years as Senior Warden during our search process as we called our new Rector. In previous years, I have led our Renewal Works team, taught adult and children's Sunday School, and served on various committees as called.

Previously, I served on the vestry at St. Luke’s, San Antonio, working with clergy and parish leadership to support worship, outreach, and congregational life. Professionally, I am a Senior Program Manager with more than 20 years of experience leading complex programs, building collaborative teams, and managing budgets with transparency and accountability. I also serve as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where I support organizational readiness and servant-leadership development. I am committed to thoughtful discernment, compassionate leadership, and strengthening the shared ministry of our diocese. I would be grateful for the opportunity to serve.
Local Church Activities: At St. Luke’s, my call to ministry is lived out through both worship and service. I currently serve as Head of the Usher Guild, coordinating teams, welcoming newcomers, and helping ensure our liturgy is offered with warmth and reverence. I also serve on Altar Guild Team 3, where I support the preparation of the sacred space for Eucharist. In addition, I help lead in our Young Adult Ministry, building community, creating space for fellowship, and helping others deepen their faith through belonging. These ministries are an extension of my call to serve, which also includes my role as Chair of The Green Door Board, stewarding outreach funds to organizations across our city, and my prior service on the St. Luke’s Vestry. I approach each role with gratitude, collaboration, and a commitment to strengthening the life of our parish. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our church family.

I also serve our wider community through my leadership in my role as Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. In this role, I mentor Airmen, support resilience and readiness programs, and help ensure our teams and families are cared for in times of need. Whether in parish outreach, community partnerships, or military service, my focus remains the same: to serve with compassion, integrity, and love.
Diocesan Activities: My involvement in the diocese has centered on stewardship, story-sharing, and supporting diocesan community life. I am often invited to speak at parishes for Stewardship Sunday, where I share my own journey of giving—how offering time, talent, and resources has shaped my faith and strengthened my sense of belonging in the wider Church. I consider it a privilege to encourage others in their own call to generosity and discipleship. I also supported the diocese when St. Luke’s hosted Diocesan Council, assisting with planning, hospitality, and ensuring a welcoming environment for delegates and clergy from across the region. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the breadth and diversity of our diocesan family. My service in the diocese is grounded in the belief that we are one Body, working together to support each other in ministry, worship, and witness to the love of Christ.

Qualifications: I am open to soliciting feedback from diocesan members and preparing report backs to keep the diocesan members informed. I am open to sponsoring bills as necessary and completing read throughs of proposed changes and soliciting feedback of diocesan members prior to counsel. With the recent changes within the Anglican Communion, I believe this is a convention we could see a substantial movement for change. If elected, I would make sure to vote with the conscious of the diocese and where our values and beliefs lie.
Local Church Activities: Incumbent Treasurer, Vestry Member, Stewardship Chair.
Community Activities: Volunteer with a Policial Education committee running educational classes throughout San Antonio.
Diocesan Activities: While I am just beginning to branch out beyond the four walls of my church, I have worked closely with the diocese on several financial projects at St Andrew’s for the betterment of the congregation. I attended Discovery Weekend in November 2025. I will also be running for a delegate position at my congregation for Diocesan Council 2026.

Qualifications: Over the past twenty years, I’ve had the joy of serving in many leadership roles at St. Barnabas. My love for our parish continues to nudge me toward new ways to give back and to help our community thrive. Along the way, I’ve gained a deep understanding of how a parish really works—both the practical, day-to-day side and the spiritual life that sustains it. I’ve learned how to bring together the needs of the church’s business side with the hopes and hearts of its people. As I look to the wider Church, I would be honored to share what I’ve learned and to help us listen for where God is leading us next.
Local Church Activities: I have been fortunate to serve on the Vestry and to hold the office of Senior Warden for three years. As the “COVID Warden,” I worked closely with our rector to navigate the many challenges of that time—balancing the directives from our Bishop with the care and safety of our parishioners. Currently, as Treasurer of the parish, I launched a Finance Committee to strengthen communication with the Vestry and to take responsibility for budget preparation. I also work with the Diocese of West Texas Foundation, collaborating with Mr. Dan Butt in managing our parish investments. In addition to these administrative roles, I am a member of the Daughters of the King, where I am continually inspired by a community of selfless women seeking to live intentionally through Christ. This year marks the beginning of my spiritual journey through Education for Ministry (EfM), which is already deepening my understanding of faith and service.
Community Activities: When my husband and I moved to Fredericksburg in 2002, I continued my career in financial services and soon found myself deeply involved in our community. As the market manager for a local community bank, I had the good fortune to connect with many organizations and people who care about the well-being of our town. I’ve served in city governance on both the Zoning Board of Adjustments and the Planning and Zoning Commission. For the past seventeen years, I’ve also been a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, welcoming new businesses and helping them feel at home in Fredericksburg. One of the organizations closest to my heart is the Good Samaritan Center, our community’s free and charitable clinic, where I served on the Board of Directors for six years. Serving in various leadership roles—including as President of the Fredericksburg Rotary Club—has shown me how much “service above self” can accomplish when people come together with a shared purpose.
Diocesan Activities: I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a delegate to Diocesan Council several times, and each experience has deepened my appreciation for the wider Church and the many ways we live out our shared mission together. In my role as treasurer, I’ve also had the good fortune to work with Mr. Dan Butt on behalf of our congregation regarding the investments we hold at the Foundation. Those conversations have reminded me how the careful stewardship of our resources can help sustain ministry and strengthen the work God is calling us to do.
