Duncan Park is hiring Summer Staff for the 2025 camping season. Duncan Park Adventure Guides serve as a host and guide for groups of youth, adults, and families as part of our Summer Camp program. They will work closely with the Director, other guides, interns, and volunteer leaders. For each of the eight, week-long sessions Adventure Guides lead groups in onsite activities and adventures throughout the Rocky Mountains. Off-site activities include whitewater rafting and rock climbing (both facilitated by outside organizations), day hikes in the Roosevelt National Forest, multiple night backpacking trips through the Indian Peaks Wilderness, and single night camping trips. Owned and facilitated by the Episcopal Church in West Texas as part of their year-round camping ministry, Duncan Park is 20 miles west (about a 45-minute drive) from Boulder, Colorado. At 9,530 feet elevation the property is surrounded by the Roosevelt National Forest and Boulder County Open Space; and the Continental Divide is an eight-mile hike from our front door. Guests and staff live completely off-grid, relying on solar panels for electricity and water drawn from our well. Duncan Park truly is an amazing place!
