Introducing the New Director of Duncan Park
The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas is pleased to announce the hiring of Jody Davis as Director of Duncan Park, the diocesan camp and retreat center in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Jody most recently served as the Diocesan Youth Coordinator for the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee.
As Duncan Park's Director, Jody will plan and develop camp programs and retreats, lead the summer staff, and oversee the ongoing development, maintenance, and care of the facilities and natural environment at Duncan Park, in close collaboration with Rob Watson, Director of Camps and Conferences.
Pairing an Environmental Engineering degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with his experience as a camp counselor, summer staffer, parish youth leader, and Diocesan Youth Coordinator, Jody brings a range of skills and education with him to the Diocese of West Texas and Duncan Park.
As an avid outdoorsman and lifelong summer camper, Jody shares, "I could not be more excited about joining the team at Duncan Park. I feel most connected to the Holy Spirit in nature and can't wait to share God's love with campers, guests, and staff in the outdoors."

Jody and his wife, Gracie met at Grace Point Camp in East Tennessee, almost seven years ago. Together they love hiking, camping, cooking, and hanging out with their dog, Lincoln. They especially love traveling and recently returned from a six-week cross country road trip, visiting sixteen national parks! They will move to the San Antonio area at the start of the year and live on site at Duncan Park during its summer camp and fall retreat season.
