Camp Capers es un campamento y centro de conferencias junto al río, ubicado en 188 acres en la región montañosa de Texas, a 40 millas al noroeste de San Antonio, a orillas del río Guadalupe. Camp Capers ofrece programas de campamentos de verano para jóvenes de 8 a 18 años y asiste a sesiones dentro de los grupos de edad. Mustang Island Conference Center invites Wounded Warrior families to a relaxed family weekend at the beach. The weekend will begin with dinner Friday at 6:00 p.m. and ends with lunch on Sunday. Optional activities will include beach time, arts & crafts, campfire, s'mores, and evening worship.

With our new structure of ages per weekend, games & teachings will be scheduled in a way that is appropriate for each age group.

For High School Juniors and Seniors, College Students, Individuals and Couples
A special service-oriented weekend designed as an opportunity to give back and beautify Camp Capers. This is a great opportunity for high school students to earn service hours. If you are unable to stay the whole weekend, we invite you to come for the day on Saturday.
Enjoy some fun activities in the beautiful Hill Country, and participate in fellowship and worship. Work projects may include grounds clean-up, trail maintenance, stocking firewood, painting, small construction projects, landscaping, and gardening. Projects will vary based on volunteer skills and specific needs around Camp Capers.
All are welcome to come get their hands dirty in work and play at their Hill Country home on the banks of the Guadalupe River.
Stay in a cabin or campout under the stars! All meals and lodging included. Retreat cost $75 for weekend - Saturday only - $35.00

Backpacking is an incredible experience that gives you the opportunity to learn about yourself and grow in your relationship with God on the trail. Duncan Park guides will teach you all the skills a person needs for the trail. Then we'll spend four days and three nights backpacking through the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Step out of your comfort zone into a land of possibilities! (Duncan Park provides hiking pack, tents, sleeping bag, and cooking equipment. Spend a long, summer weekend with your family on the beach at Mustang Island Family Camp! Enjoy swimming, singing, surfing, arts & crafts, delicious meals, a buried treasure hunt, beach games, worship, building sand castles, fishing, resting under a beach umbrella, a campfire, and more. Programming begins Thursday afternoon/evening and continues through Sunday lunch. Each day ends with worship, music, and a family-centered Bible teaching.
Your family will have opportunities to unplug, relax, and reconnect with each other, faith, community, and God’s glorious creation. Each room has a private deck view of the sea and boardwalk access to beach.

Summer Camp for rising 6th & 7th graders at Camp Capers offers the opportunity to experience the unconditional love and friendship of a Christian community while attending a one-week session.Through God’s grace, Camp Capers is committed to offering fun, life-changing experiences to children and youth in a safe, Christ-centered community.Activities include kayaking, team-building challenges, a high ropes course, crafts, Bible-based teachings, devotional times, and more.
Registration cost is $585; scholarships are available.

A Weekend for Mothers and Daughters.
Mothers, Daughters and Grandmothers of all ages are invited to a weekend at Camp Capers that centers on growing and kindling that unique and special bond that mothers and daughters have while participating in fun and faith-centered activities such as swimming, high ropes, kayaking, gardening, arts and crafts, hiking, worship services, Bible lessons, and so much more.The retreat costs $175 per adult and $125 per child (ages 6 - 18 years old). Experience Camp Capers through the eyes of your daughter!Mother and Daughters will stay in cabins together with other families by age. If you have a request for someone you would like to room with, please contact Camp Capers to complete a roommate request one-week prior to your retreat. Should Lodge Rooms be available for the weekend, you can upgrade to a lodge room.
