Mustang Island Conference Center invites Wounded Warrior families to a relaxed family weekend at the beach. The weekend will begin with dinner Friday at 6:00 p.m. and ends with lunch on Sunday. Optional activities will include beach time, arts & crafts, campfire, s'mores, and evening worship.

Join us for Mid-Winter II, January 9 - 11, 2026 - for current 2nd through 5th graders.

Get ready to start the new year with an amazing weekend at Camp Capers! Mid-Winter Camp is a weekend for reuniting with friends from summer camp, making new ones, growing and learning in faith, campfires, outdoor games, singing, worship, and more. With our new structure of ages per weekend, games & teachings will be scheduled in a way that is appropriate for each age group.

Registration costs $190; scholarships are available.

‍Escape to Mustang Island for weekend with your Sweetheart. The weekend includes two nights lodging, 5 meals, special Saturday dinner, and campfire. The schedule is intentionally very relaxed, so you can spend time together resting, reflecting, and renewing with God and each other in His coastal creation. For High School Juniors and Seniors, College Students, Individuals and Couples

A special service-oriented weekend designed as an opportunity to give back and beautify Camp Capers. This is a great opportunity for high school students to earn service hours. If you are unable to stay the whole weekend, we invite you to come for the day on Saturday.

Enjoy some fun activities in the beautiful Hill Country, and participate in fellowship and worship. Work projects may include grounds clean-up, trail maintenance, stocking firewood, painting, small construction projects, landscaping, and gardening. Projects will vary based on volunteer skills and specific needs around Camp Capers.

All are welcome to come get their hands dirty in work and play at their Hill Country home on the banks of the Guadalupe River.

Stay in a cabin or campout under the stars! All meals and lodging included. Retreat cost $75 for weekend - Saturday only - $35.00

An adventure retreat for military veterans involved in the Wounded Warrior Project and their families. June 7-12, 2026.

Spend a week with your loved ones enjoying the mountain air, hiking through pine forests, growing closer to your family and to God. You can expect great food, games, fishing, outdoor fun, and hikes in the neighboring Roosevelt National Forest and at Brainard Lake State Recreation Area. Accommodations include our Summer Cabins, the Bunk Houses, Platform Tents, and will be determined by the size of each family. For anyone desiring a true, Colorado camping experience, you're welcome to bring the family tent, set up camp beneath the stars, and take advantage of all the amenities at Duncan Park.

Have we got an adventure for you! Spend the week having a ton of fun with other campers from across Texas, learning back-country and outdoor living skills, exploring the forests and mountains of Colorado all while learning about our environment and how God is interwoven into all of it.

Duncan Park is committed to offering fun, life-changing experiences to families and youth in a safe, Christ-centered community. Leadership at camp is provided by program staff and counselors, as well as a priest from the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, serving as chaplain for the week.

Registration cost is $900; scholarships are available. Junior High Camp is for rising 7th grade through 9th grade.

Each session at Duncan Park is unique and activities change from week to week. Sessions begin with an acclimation day to allow campers to adjust to the higher elevation, but the rest of the week is action-packed.

• Prepare for adventure! Adventures may include rock climbing, white water rafting, hiking, or backpacking

A Backpacking Camp at Duncan Park for rising 10th through 12th graders and college students. July 19-25, 2026.

Are you ready to be challenged in a way you never have? Backpacking is an incredible experience that gives you the opportunity to learn about yourself and grow in your relationship with God on the trail. Duncan Park guides will teach you all the skills a person needs for the trail. Then we'll spend four days and three nights backpacking through the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Step out of your comfort zone into a land of possibilities! (Duncan Park provides hiking pack, tents, sleeping bag, and cooking equipment. Campers provide hiking boots and weather appropriate clothing for the trip. Email duncan.park@dwtx.org for suggestions regarding hiking boots or other personal gear.).

Camp Capers es un campamento episcopal ubicado en la región montañosa de Texas, en la diócesis del oeste de Texas.

El campamento de verano para estudiantes de sexto y séptimo grado en Camp Capers ofrece la oportunidad de experimentar el amor incondicional y la amistad de una comunidad cristiana mientras asisten a una sesión de una semana. Gracias a la gracia de Dios, Camp Capers se compromete a ofrecer experiencias divertidas que cambien la vida a los niños y jóvenes en una comunidad segura y centrada en Cristo. Las actividades incluyen paseos en kayak, desafíos de formación de equipos, un curso de cuerdas altas, manualidades, enseñanzas basadas en la Biblia, momentos de devoción y más.

Spend a long, summer weekend with your family on the beach at Mustang Island Family Camp! Enjoy swimming, singing, surfing, arts & crafts, delicious meals, a buried treasure hunt, beach games, worship, building sand castles, fishing, resting under a beach umbrella, a campfire, and more. Programming begins Thursday afternoon/evening and continues through Sunday lunch. Each day ends with worship, music, and a family-centered Bible teaching.

Your family will have opportunities to unplug, relax, and reconnect with each other, faith, community, and God’s glorious creation. Each room has a private deck view of the sea and boardwalk access to beach.

Family of 4: $990                Infants 24 months& younger at time of session, no charge

A Weekend for Mothers and Daughters.

Mothers, Daughters and Grandmothers of all ages are invited to a weekend at Camp Capers that centers on growing and kindling that unique and special bond that mothers and daughters have while participating in fun and faith-centered activities such as swimming, high ropes, kayaking, gardening, arts and crafts, hiking, worship services, Bible lessons, and so much more.The retreat costs $175 per adult and $125 per child (ages 6 - 18 years old). Experience Camp Capers through the eyes of your daughter!Mother and Daughters will stay in cabins together with other families by age. If you have a request for someone you would like to room with, please contact Camp Capers to complete a roommate request one-week prior to your retreat. Should Lodge Rooms be available for the weekend, you can upgrade to a lodge room.
