Episcopal Diocese of West Texas Chapter

Prayer, Service, and Evangelism for His Sake

Reaffirming the promises made at Baptism and Confirmation, a Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism. She receives support in this commitment from a worldwide community of like-minded women. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world.

About

Welcome to the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas' The Order of the Daughters of the King® page. There are over 40 chapters within the Diocese and nearly 800 Senior, Junior, and Daughters at Large. We hope the information shared on this page is helpful to you. If you need to find a chapter near you, or find  other information about Daughters of the King® in our Diocese, please contact the Diocesan President, at dwtxdaughterspres@gmail.com.

As Daughters of the King, we are women of courage who have made a commitment to serve God our King. We wear crosses as an outward and visible sign that we cannot live a day without Christ in our lives. We see our Order as a community of nurturing women, accepting all people, bridging differences and cherishing traditions.

Diocesan President's Verse for Term - Galations 3:26 - 29 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male or female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (NIV).
