Missions Café - March 2022: The Owen Project
Join World Missions on Thursday, March 3 at 12:00 p.m. for Missions Café: The Owen Project with Sally & Mark Keddal. During this free webinar, the Keddals will talk about the ministry they started with St. Andrew’s Church, Seguin, in memory of their son, Owen, who died at the young age of age 22.
The Owen Project provides amazing, low-cost XO laptop computers to students in isolated mountain schools in Honduras and Guatemala. Designed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab founder Nicholas Negroponte for use in developing countries worldwide, these waterproof computers are programmed for various languages, disciplines, art, music, and a large array of selections and can connect their users to the vast resources of the internet.

Each speaker introduces their mission, the needs of the people they serve, local customs and culture, and how the ministry is making a positive difference on the community.
