Migrant Cycle of Prayer, August 6
Immigration Ministries is organizing a prayer vigil, Thursday, August 6th at 7:00 p.m. For this first gathering in the ongoing Migrant Cycle of Prayer for those impacted by the crisis at our border, Bishop Reed will lead us in prayer. He shares, "I invite all churches and parishioners to joinin prayer for immigrants and refugees; for Customs and Border Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents; for the stations and detentioncenters across the U.S., and for everyone who serves in ministries to care for all involved."
After the first prayer vigil, Immigration Ministries will host weekly online gatherings for fifteen minutes of prayer, led by a rotation of diocesan clergy and inspired by a Cycle of Prayer laid out by Episcopal Migration Ministries.
