Our Facilities

The Bishop Jones Center, diocesan headquarters, is located at 111 Torcido Dr. San Antonio, Texas, 78209.

The diocesan bishop and his staff are housed at The Bishop Jones Center in San Antonio on a 19-acre site that is being reclaimed as a natural setting in the midst of this busy Texas city. Phone number to the center is 888/210-824-5387 or email general.mail@dwtx.org.

Also on the grounds is Chapel House, a 1920s-era home that has been extensively renovated and is used today for meetings, retreats, and worship. The former living room of the house is now St. John's Chapel. The Cathedral Park Pavilion is an open-air structure enclosed by screens and seats 24 persons at seminar-type table or 30 chairs only. The pavilion is approached via a wooden bridge from the lower grounds or from Torcido Avenue.

Episcopal Camps and Conference Centers:

The diocese is blessed by a robust camping ministry at three camp and conference centers: Camp Capers, in the Texas Hill Country, Mustang Island Conference Center on the Gulf Coast near Corpus Christi, and Duncan Park in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. There is a retreat house available at Camp Capers (Sol Y Sombra) and Mustang Island Conference Center (La Casa de Playa) to members of the Diocese of West Texas for private, spiritual retreat; contact Leigh Saunders for more information.

For year-round retreat, camp and general information for an individual, family, or church retreat at these locations, contact the camp offices.
