Psalm 96:2

Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.

God doesn’t ask us to worship Him because it is good for him or he is in need. He asks us to worship Him because it transforms our lives.  It is our relationship with Him that enriches our relationship with others. It is our relationship and joy in Him that puts our lives and the world into prospective.

Through His love for us and His passion for us, He sent His son to be with us. He sent Jesus to live with us, to walk with us, to break bread with us, to teach and talk to us. He sent Him basically to connect with our problems and our humanness.  But it is through His purpose and divinity we are given the power to overcome anything and everything that challenges us here on earth as well as being given salvation and heavenly expectation.

To our Father, it is our responsibility to praise him, to honor Him day and night and all times between.  To let him know how thankful we are for all we have, for all we are, and for all we will become. We need to humble ourselves in His glory and sight and sing out His praises loudly with love and constancy.

Mantra for the day: I praise You and Honor Your Name now and always. Thanks be to God. Amen.
