There are numerous ways to support Camps & Conferences in the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas.

Annual Fund:

CAMPS Annual Fund.  This is not an endowment, but an expendable annual fund that will help provide for needed projects that are not funded through the regular diocesan budget.  In 2008, the Founding Funders, a group of generous donors, each gave $1000 or more to get the fund started.  Additional gifts of all sizes were also given.  In its first year all the monies collected went towards the reforestation of Camp Capers.  In 2009, it will go towards expanding and resurfacing the Camp Capers pool.  In the future, it may be focused on enhancing areas of art, music, worship, or staff training.  Each year we will consider where the money is most needed – whether at Camp Capers, Mustang Island Conference Center, or even the new Brinsmade facility which is still in the planning and visioning stages.

Scholarships:

Scholarships are provided for Camp Capers summer camp sessions and Mustang Island Family camp sessions. To find out how to recieve a summer camp or family camp scholarship, click here.
