Phase I

Phase I - Turning Vision into Reality
Because of your generosity...

Good Samaritan Community Services

We have reached out to families and children on the west side of San Antonio at Good Samaritan Community Services, formerly, the Good Samaritan Center.  The goal of $500,000 to establish a replacement and operational endowment has been accomplished. For more information go to: www.goodsamaritancommunityservices.org

Camp Capers

We have completed a new arts and crafts building at Camp Capers and opened a permanent endowment fund.  Although the $500,000 endowment included in the $620,000 goal was not fully funded, the gifts you have given are making a difference. For more information go to: www.campcapers.org

TMI - The Episcopal School of Texas

Students from Kipp Academy, Houston, and the ranchlands of South Texas receive an outstanding education to reach their potential of servant leaders.  The need for a $1 million boarding student scholarship endowment at Texas Military Institute received the resounding support of over $1.627 million in gifts.  A new residence hall, Bailey Hall, costing $755,000 was funded in addition to a $250,000 maintenance endowment.  Gifts totaling $2.377 million. For more information go to: www.tmi-sa.org

Mustang Island

Families are being strengthened to reflect, communicate, play, relax and have fun with each other as they bring Christ into their daily lives.  The vision of establishing Mustang Island Conference Center became reality in 2003 with the completion of two adult housing units.  The original cost estimate and goal of $1.7 million grew to $2.786 million, and you answered the need with gifts of $2.786 million.  For more information go to: www.mustangisland.org

Bishop Jones Center

The Bishop Jones Center is a place for all our people to gather to discern the Lord's claim upon their lives before returning to the world to live into their ministries.  The goal of $1.1 million for the restoration of Chapel House, creation of Cathedral Court, Pergola of Hope, Chapel House Gardens and development of Cathedral Park has been met and surpassed.  Gifts from individuals and foundations totaled more than $1.7l3 million, ensuring that this place in the heart of San Antonio will remain an oasis for rest and relaxation in a world beset by change and uncertainty.

New Church Starts

We are growing this Church and our work continues in Phase II. FOr the next few years plans to plant new congregations are a high priority as we strive to reach out in South Texas with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thus far, pledges and gifts totaling $2.1 million have been received. Goal: $11.67 million  Raised: $12.1 million
