Ecumenical Commission
The Ecumenical Commission affirms the words of the Nicene Creed that the Christian family is, "one holy catholic and apostolic Church." The Commission encourages, promotes, and finds common cause, in ministry and dialogue, with faith communities beyond the Episcopal family. The Commission has responsibility for being the communication arm, to the congregations of the diocese, regarding ecumenical opportunities for the building up of God's Kingdom.
