Once a year, usually in February, the clergy and lay representatives of every parish and mission in the diocese gather for fellowship, worship, and to conduct the business of the diocese as mandated by diocesan canon. Reports presented at Council are then gathered into the annual Journal, which are available here. Dates and locations for recent and upcoming Councils are: 2009, Feb. 19-21 — the 105th Council — McAllen, Texas 2008, Feb. 21-23 — the 104th Council — San Antonio, Texas 2007, Feb. 22-24 — the 103rd Coundil — Corpus Christi, Texas 2006, Feb. 23-25 — the 102nd Council — San Antonio, Texas 2005, Feb. 17-19 — the 101st Council — S.
