The east boundry of Camp Capers is cut by the meandering Guadalupe River. The River was the original swimming hole in the 1940's and was a beautiful place to sit and listen to nature. The Meditation Trail takes walkers along the banks of the river and through pristine native grass and forest areas. The Point, shaped like a natural amphitheater, is perfect for worship with a cross and stone altar.
The outdoor Picnic and Bonfire Area is a place where friends can gather and eat under the canopy of a majestic heritage oak. At night, you can watch the fire or count the millions of stars in the sky. We will be happy to supply everything your group needs to have a bonfire or picnic during your stay.
