If they sign up on their own, they will not be linked to your child's account and therefore not have access. Parents of campers must go in their account and click, "Create a Friend Account." An email will be sent with step by step directions to the guests you have invited.

Letters: If you choose to send letters, we encourage you to mail them before the actual session begins, (allow at least 5 days for mail delivery), to assure the camper receives them. All Letters And Packages Must Include:
Camper’s Name
Camp Capers

If you would like your child to have a care package during the week, you may leave it with the Office Manager at registration.  Please be sure it is clearly labeled with the camper’s name and the day you would like them to receive it.  At time of online registration, you may want to visit our online Country Store and have one of our items delivered to your camper during the week.

Phoning or Visiting:

We understand the parent concerns of accidents at camp.  In the case of any emergency, either physical or otherwise, you will be notified promptly.  Due to the busy, fun-filled actitivies that are planned for the week, we cannot allow personal phone calls, either incoming or outgoing, or personal visitation during the camp session.  For some campers, personal phone calls or visits can provoke homesickness and envy in others.  Besides the interruption to the schedule, unscheduled phone calls or visits take away their sense of independence and may effect the camper's morale.

Please do not send cell phones with your child as they are strictly prohibited.  If your child accidently brings a cell phone, we will store the phone in our office and return it upon departure on the final day.  If a serious concern arises, you may contact the Office Manager to discuss the situation.  Camp Capers Emergency telephone numbers is 830-995-3966 ext.10.

Responsible care of beds, doors, windows, trees, etc. is expected of all campers.  Articles willfully destroyed will be charged to campers or their parents.
