Conferences & Retreats


The Mustang Island Conference Center is an excellent place for religious, educational, and non-profit organizations and families to gather. Our facility and campus, with their many amenities, are conductive to focusing on any task. To stepping outside or gazing out a window, to lying in a hammock or strolling on the beach, Mustang Island Conference Center allows guests to unwind and take care of themselves as well as the task at hand.

Come, see, and feel God's presence in your life at the Mustang Island Conference Center.  We are a place for Christians and others to come for retreat and renewal.  Our beautiful facility, natural surroundings, and warm but unobtrusive hospitality offer an excellent place for prayer, reflection, worship, healing, and yes, even work.

Casa de la Playa
Casa de la Playa is a larger room and is available to members of the Diocese of West Texas congregation for an individual spiritual retreat or a couple's spiritual retreat. It includes the following: king-size bed, kitchen and table, sofa, desk, towels, linens and cassette/CD player. Enjoy your view of sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico from your room or while sitting on your private deck. While on retreat, you prepare your own meals or enjoy dining in Port Aransas. Those staying in Casa de la Playa do not join other guests for meals or activities. Contact Kevin Spaeth or Lynn Corby about possible dates.
Family Reunions
The Mustang Island Conference Center is an excellent location for family reunions. Gather with family where you can play at the shore, avoid crowds, escape television and dine together. Depending upon your family size, you just may have the conference center all to yourselves.
