TMI Decision Day 2018

TMI Episcopal seniors proclaimed their status by wearing college T-shirts instead of school uniforms on May 1. Following the school’s annual tradition of Decision Day (formerly Senior Shirt Day), the 76 members of the class of 2018 showed off their college choices by wearing shirts emblazoned with the name and colors of their chosen schools.

tmi-decision-day.png“Decision Day celebrates the day our seniors have announced where the next leg of their journey will commence,” said Sarah Murphy, Director of College Placement. “Each individual decision was made with the help of families, friends, teachers, neighbors, counselors and even their future community friends. It’s a time to celebrate all their hard work in preparing for the college application process and to show our support of their final decision.”

TMI seniors will be attending Texas colleges and universities including A&M, Baylor, St. Edward's, St. Mary's, SMU, Southwest School of Art, Southwestern, TCU, Texas State, Texas Tech, Trinity, UTSA and the University of Texas at Austin; and out-of-state schools including Brandeis, Drexel, Elon, Florida State, George Washington, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Goucher, Harvard, MIT, NYU, Northeastern, Penn State, Pepperdine, Ringling College of Art and Design, Sewanee (University of the South), UCLA, U.S. Air Force Academy, the University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Denver, University of Pennsylvania, Vassar, Virginia Tech and others. Internationally, TMI graduates will attend Regent's University London and the University of St. Andrews.

TMI’s graduation ceremony will be held May 24 in Oak Hills Church.
