Asset Based Community Development workshops

Barrington Neighbors (a nonprofit created by Reconciliation, San Antonio) is hosting three separate Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) workshops over two days, Monday and Tuesday, December 4-5. The descriptions of each workshop are below.

serna02_slider.jpgWendy McCaig, founder and Executive Director for Embrace Richmond, a faith-based nonprofit that strengthens low-income neighborhoods, is leading each event, and they are targeted to specific audiences and needs. The Monday night overview and the Tuesday workshop are what really pertain to the Diocese of West Texas family, but the Tuesday night overview is available for anyone who can't attend the other two. It will cover the same content as Monday, but from an interfaith perspective.

Bishop Brooke-Davidson highly encourages each congregation in the diocese to attend these workshops. Scholarship funds are available. Please contact Haley Bankey - and RSVP by November 30 - at info@barringtonneighbors.org or 210-842-7741.
