Happenings are spiritual renewal weekends for older high school students, led by their peers. The diocese sponsors three weekends each year in various locations, and has sponsored over 100 weekends to date.

When? Each Happening begins Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. sharp, and wraps up around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. It is a lock-in, so prepare to stay the entire weekend. The Diocese of West Texas hosts three Happening each year, usually the first weekend of March, the first weekend of August, and the weekend just before Thanksgiving.

Who Can Attend? Any student in the 10th grade through 12th grade can attend. Episcopalian students will be given first preference in registration, but all students are encouraged to attend. A small number of adults may also attend.

Register below for the next upcoming session. Weekends fill up quickly, and we want to assure you of your place. You will receive detailed information about the weekend via email after you register. The weekends usually fill up by 4 to 5 weeks in advance, so don't delay!
